Hi there, thank for your reply. HoneyPot can be any hidden field we add to a form. HoneyPot is hidden from users but visible to bots. Since the user (human) has no way to fill this field, it is expected to be empty, but a bot will fill it with some random text to make sure no required fields are left blank. When the form detects that HoneyPot field is filled it stops form submission and logs potential SPAM submission in the logs.
Actually I have noticed that despite the "security code" entered in the signup form (signup.php of free web hosting resellers), there's still spam registration. So I thought that honeypots could help.
