No, this thread is NOT to raise post counts. It's for chatting and posting about different things.

Do not spam the topic. Continuous posts in a row like that will result in the topic being locked, and the board being set to not do post counts.

Ok, but did I really spam?

I replied in different parts but didn't spam.

If i was spamming then i think there will be multiple messages without any meaning right?

That would get them merged into one, but funny thing is, I don't think the forum software deducts from post counts when merged.

hmmmmmm. Thats also true. But languages have its pros and cons, but most beginners choose python.

    Agree

Is C+ kind of like C#? I know a tiny bit of the latter.

Every programming language is somehow like the other one but in C# classes. Even main function must be wrapped in classes whereas in C++ it's your choice whether you want to go for OOP approach or not.

Yes, however you dont have to declare it in the first way, and you also dont have to care how large an variable should be. I can increment an int as logn as I want - Python will do the same to the datatype.

Yes, I agree that in C++ you have to use long for large integers.

But defining the type of variable is I think is best approach as you won't have to perform extra operation to change its type.

Python is way easier to learn. For some people C++ might be easier, especially if having worked with other languages before, but Python is defently more easy for beginners. Just already not having to deal with data types takes a load of the user...

I started programming from C++, and it was easy for me.

Also, if you Goto learns with C++ then most of your concepts will be clear, and you will be able to work with almost any programming language. You still have to deal with data types while processing different types of data. Python by default takes input as string and then you have to convert it into different data types for processing (if you want to perform operations on it).

Well if i'd be using c++ id still be coding... \xD

    I still love C++

Also, the syntax of most languages is almost like C++. So, if you know C++, you almost know every programming language.

Python on the other hand is easy to use, but its indentation is a problem and also It is slower (as it is closer to English, and afaik, it is first compiled into C++ and then that C++ code is compiled into assembly language and then machine language)

adsense does not approve affiliate websites

Actually, your reseller hosting website is not considered as an affiliate website. The term "affiliate website" referred to those who do affiliate marketing like posting products with affiliate links to other stores, but here you are the one providing free services (doesn't matter whether you are reseller of ifastnet or any company).

I also got my website approved once, attached with MOFH.

Is there any alternative to adsense please let me know.

You can find many alternatives on google by searching "Adsense Alternatives"

google.captcha.id is what i meant you buggy compiler

    clear code for hcaptcha

Welcome! In this post I'll present you "Snowflake Hosting", this is really exciting for me, because, I worked almost 1 month on the website itself, and, spend some money 😄

    Website: https://snow-web.co.ua/

    mySnowy: https://snow-web.co.ua/mysnowy

It look nice, but I think

    • header menu on mobile device needs to be in a dropdown or drawer.
    • Heading of features section is overlapping with login, signup button after hero section.Qo1hB1X.png

    Well, its not too bad

Not too bad, but still if you want a business email then you should care about headers of email which contain signed by and mailed by information.

effort of setting up something like mailjet is simply not really worth it.

It doesn't really take much time. you just have to configure few DNS record and then simply using SMTP details or API to setup mailjet, sendgrid etc.

But zohomail can also be used as an alternative.

For the default php mail function, which phpmailer can use, Ive never seen an email go thru that, and Im sure if, itll go to your spam. Better just setup your smtp with phpmailer, it makes up for way better eresults.

Maybe because it is mentioned in ifastnet docs that phpmailer works by default with most popular CMS just for email verification system and nothing else.

SMTP is always the recommended option, no matter whether you have paid hosting or not.

I'd let that someone get that subdomain, just for the effort. It would likely be useless anyway.

Yeah, that's why I'm not currently running a MOFH hosting, in case you were wondering.

lol, taking subdomain under your account and acting as you 😂

    2 hours ago, Anyx said:

Yeah, I think I was planning to refer to @TinkerMan in a post, don't know if I actually did it. It's generally not a good idea to ask for the domain you signed up with to be removed because of the way the system works.

    Hmm, their system is strange

A little tip for @AA22Dev: a quick way to increase new posts is to point out spelling mistakes in your contestants' posts, as demonstrated by BastelPichi here.

Of course, you can also do the same @BastelPichi... although you could also call this a banning speedrun.

Nice tip, I'll consider it lol

  14. 16 hours ago, BastelPichi said:

Yes, however actually dont adding it in teh first way is the best, as you cant remove the domain you signed up with.

Yes, you can't but ifastnet support team can

    16 hours ago, Anyx said:

True, but if the subdomains can't be used (@SpookyKipper's Cloudflare suggestion) this isn't a problem.

Yes, @SpookyKipper's cloudflare suggestion is best as the domain won't be any more pointing towards byet.net nameservers and any subdomain created under that domain will become useless.

    16 hours ago, Anyx said:

but that's not something your average user will either know or bother to do in my opinion

Agreed, but hosting accounts can also be used by the one who might know about inspect element thing :)

Seems like there's going to be a fierce competition between BurkeKnight, BastelPichi, AA22Dev and Chronos for those two spots (and perhaps Evrifaessa's). Maybe some bets shall be placed?

The only one that doesn't worry is PlanetCloud, unless of course he decides to leave us for two years 😂

lol, he won't leave, he will keep his position of no. 1 in leader board 😂

phpmailer requires an smtp server. This is not available for free by default.

Actually, phpmailer is available but with limited functionality like working with popular CMS for registration emails according to this knowledgebase article by ifastnet: Email on free hosting. | Hosting KnowledgeBase (ifastnet.com)

I don't really like using gmail to send emails from business mail through this way because of
