Do any of you own a Wordpress site? What have you been doing to prevent spammers from spamming your comment section, forms and media files? I have around 10 small Wordpress blogs and I hate receiving hundreds of spam comments each day. I had to manually delete the comments until I found some great plugins to delete spam comments and help me prevent spammers. I thought it may help some Wordpress beginners here so I share my list of anti-spam Wordpress plugins: 1. Akismet 2. DisableComment plugin for totally close the comment section. 3. Accurate Form Data plugin to validate the data (email/physical address) users enter into my site contact form. Demo page: Email Checker Wordpress Plugin What are your favorite list of anti-spam plugins for WP?

you can limit the length of allowed time frame for comments and use jetpack this enables i think the anti spam thing and also if you go to the plugins and browse one of the first ones is a security one it has a all in one package for those....if you need other help simply go to the wordpress.org forum and they usually answer pretty quick and have tutorials etc

Thanks for sharing these cool plugins. You know, I've recently subscribed to this blog - https://www.templatemonster.com/blog/one-wordpress-hack-day/, and now I get very informative newsletters on a daily basis, including the info about must-have plugins to run an effective website.
