Guest wickedfoes
I'm reviving my blog and I'm trying to work it out to gain viewers again. SEO is really a frustrating topic especially to a non-technical person like me. All I know is that it contributes to the online success of a website. I have a small budget to hire a SEO company but I don’t know the qualifications of an efficient company, hiring a low-quality SEO services is not on my list at the moment. I just want to know if a non-technical person like me can do SEO on my own.
Guest Skye Randall
Apparently, yes you can do seo by yourself provided that you understand what is involved because it also includes restructuring of your site. By the way, there are tutorial and guidelines that you can find in the internet that could help your blog increase its followers. Otherwise, if you have enough budget then you may grab some experts or agencies who offer to handle your search engine optimization effectively. Guest wickedfoes
Thanks, Skye. I think it's hard for me to learn quickly how to use SEO to my advantage since I have no background whatsoever with marketing so I need time to digest everything that's written on tutorials and guides that I've scanned online. I might need to have a freelancer take a look at the SEO part of my blog rather than getting a marketing firm that offers SEO services since the would cost me a fortune (which I don't have at the moment LoL). I just hope a freelancer can get the same impressive results as a firm does.
Guest Kawaii-Volt32
Everyone must have started as a freelancer or novice, so read on the latest tips and such from trusted sources. Make sure you're keeping up to date or else you'll get nowhere. And of course make sure you are providing good content, use something like Yoast SEO for WordPress to help you out there. It's a good tool.

Guest Poster
You can do SEO on your own.. but you need to do alot of reading on it to get it. Hiring SEO services is better if you're starting off but as you said, you're on a budget. Here's a link on what you should focus on in SEO, its a good read. But as I was saying, you can do SEO on your own but it'll be difficult if you dont know what you're doing. You should do some reading on the topic and eventually you'll get it. Guest Zelazi
Hi to all! Of course, you can do it on your own without SEO companies. Honestly, I did same when I created my own websites with free website builder - https://www.webstarts.com Then, I was able to do an initial optimization, and it was all for free. As far as I know, there is a lot of different tips on the Internet, but you need to be careful. SEO doesn't stand still, because everything that brought results 2 mounth ago now may be useless. Good luck! Edited October 7, 2016 by Zelazi
EdMur
Optimize your text to be SEO friendly, read new (!) info on the subject on some trusted sources, like MOZ, Search Engine Land, Yoast etc. Even Reddit may answer on some of your questions. And be careful, and don't follow under web filters.
