I believe it's for security reasons that they have it where there's only one administrator. However, you can make support helpers under the support system tab. 

Well, if it is working on one browser but not another, it is more likely a browser issue. Have you tried clearing the cache in Firefox?

Personally, I don't even deal with Firefox anymore. They are totally going overboard on trying to change web design to their own liking. Kinda like Microsoft does. 

A link to your site would be useful. Also, you may want to try clearing the cache in your browser.

Css is one of the things that your browser caches. If change the css, you'll 99.9% of the time have to clear the cache in your browser.

Please be sure you are uploading the files to the htdocs folder.

For this, you would actually have to get a top level domain. You cannot use a free hosting sub-domain to do this.

Usually it's only down due to server work. Not for long time.

However, a notice would be nice.
