nwnovak
Hi. First, let me say that I am deeply grateful to Byet for making this provision for sandboxing. I was doing a little work on the site setting up certificates and I noticed that after I set the CNAME for the ZeroSSL, I was getting the domain failing. I thought maybe this was some kind of propagation delay issue, so I deleted the CNAME record and gave it a bit of time, but it's still not working, about 1 hour later. So I had a thought to try the domain.byethost17.com (from the details when I did the account setup) to see if this was localized to the domain.me that I have set up and it looks like mydomain.byethost17.com is also not working. I've tested on multiple machines, multiple browsers. Is there any way I can test to see if the issue is server side or if I have mucked something up with the site? I have set up ZeroSSL certificates probably 50-100 times on other hosts, but this is my first time using byethost to build a site. Thanks. nwnovak
The website is back up, so maybe it was a server side interrupt. I am currently able to access both the mydomain.byethost17.com and the main domain. So that's good. As to the certificates, they are working as expected now using the SSL tool in the Cpanel. Thanks.
