  1. I see something different now when I go to his page, its a page you get when do not get the domain name right that must have been what he was referring to, I have gotten these pages when I did not do my DNS account right. I would do as dlucas says which is to delete the subdomain and recreate it and start over. Of course it could just be a matter of the url as dlucas said not having yet propagated and so wait and if that was not the problem then try to recreate the subdomain.
  2. I am not sure if I can do some design of the VistaPanel like some are doing with the Cpanel, but I will do some searching and see if I can use some scripts in the Header section of the Adverts and if I can I will look into what can be done. On the Hepsia Panel there is a demo on that at this link: https://demo.hepsia.com/login/
  3. I added a top banner this evening, I decided that it looks best all across the top, it might be a little too tall, but for the time being I will live with it. If I do make a change I will make it shorter in height. But I kind of like this and think I will stay with the VistaPanel for awhile, I hope the users like it and find it different than what they have experienced with VistaPanel in the past.
  4. I am just setting this up: I have found that OpenCart makes a good Resellers Store for your reseller account. Its allot less hassle to work with than PrestaShop, easier to set up with PayPal and 2Checkout plus allot of other credit and payment methods but these two are enough, PayPal may be enough. The layout is easy to set up your products in. I want to offer Web Site Design services and so I think a store makes sense. Plus those offers you set up in your myownfreehost control panel can be sold in your store. For Accounts and Billing invoices that automatically are sent at various times "Logic Invoice" seems to be the thing for this. It is simple yet has everything you need without allot of detailed set up. So in looking over the things in the Softaculous Installer Panel to use I have selected these for web hosting accounts. I think you will find them useful also. OpenCart also has its own built in affiliate program where you can have Affiliate Ad Publishers to sign up to obtain commissions, also some of those commissions can be in terms of upgrades in hosting in terms of disk space and bandwidth as well as domains, which you can set up as a package called Affiliate Package or some other name for a hosting plan.
  5. Well this will not allow you to post a video, however that embedded code is a XAMPP video if you want to check it out.
  6. You have something wrong there, it could be the MOFH theme you are using that has some code mistake. My sign up page is working as it should, once you sign up you get an email that takes you to the Cpanel or VistaPanel. I know the link you have above, there is an ad on the lower right corner of some themes that have a graphic ad for the site free-webhosts.com if you can not resolve the issue then you might have to change the theme you are using. I can not be certain but this might help. You can back up your current theme into a .zip file on the server. If you need to edit your site offline then get XAMPP web server with Apache, MyQsl, and all of that pre-configured to run on your PC or laptop, it helps allot when working with PHP files offline. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/h6DEDm7C37A" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  7. Did you mean the Adverts for the Cpanel or the Client Site as you said above?
  8. I still have the upgrade buttons on my VistaPanel, in the graphic I had to scroll down the page so you could see the links in the sidebars because at the top of the page the links are the same color of the gradient background color and can not be seen. Hence this is why you can not see the top, notice the Softaculous graphics show the page is scrolled down.
  9. These belong to https://speedynet.cloud and the later belongs to https://cloudhosting.speedynet.cloud/ I separated off a site to advertise free Wordpress hosting which I am still editing offline with XAMPP, actually I have allot of editing on all three sites still. So it will be about two to three weeks before its all finished. Plus my support forum is still needing editing. Anyways the Wordpress sign up is at https://webhost.speedynet.cloud. The VistaPanel is the same on both the first and latter url sites. All control from one reseller panel, the Hepsia Panel is from another company integrated into my brand. I use all three sites as navigation from the main site since each are subdomains of that site. Just sort of divisions, also the cloud hosting site where the Hepsia Panel is a Duoservers company reseller, and so I have brought them all together as one brand at Byethost to try and make some money and then go premium with both reseller accounts if possible. You can sign up for a free 30 day trial to check out the Hepsia Panel, just use the second link at the top and look for the 30 trial you do not have to submit a credit card or any financial information to obtain the trial so you are safe to sign up and take the Hepsia for a spin. My Byethost reseller theme at webhost.speedynet.com states on the page Why Us that they use Cloud Servers technologies, in a clustered configuration, Duoservers also uses Cloud technology, so I am promoting this with my domain name and focus on the product. I also like to experiment with branding ideas using graphics so I do things like this:
  10. I have obtained two DNS domains from Name.com and pointed them to one server account, one as a parked top level domain and the other is to an add on domain name to a subdomain created inside the top level domain. The top level domain is a dot com name and the subdomain is a dot space domain name. I have a question about the mx records, do I only place them at my Name.com account in its DSN records or do I add the mx record to the Byethost Cpanel? Or both? Now I have another question, I have just obtained a Reseller account and it too has a domain name from the same Name.com account, as speedynet.cloud and my name servers as n1.speedynet.cloud and n2.speedynet.cloud which are either at iFastNet or Byethost. I submitted my new DNS for the reseller account and was not required to point the DNS name at Name.com the Reseller account since whoever set up my account pointed the DNS to it. Where do I place the mx records for this which are mx.speedynet.cloud? I might have to clarify this for you further so I am ready to answer whatever questions I can to remedy this situation. I can get mail in but the only thing sending mail out are my CMS script in the htdocs.
  11. Here I have the default VistaPanel designed like a web page with right and left sidebars with links to the services and useful software and HTML code sites etc. This way the users can have ready links to the Home site and aids to assist them in web design, plus I have an affiliate ad to get them to sign up for ad publishing. This Hepsia Panel is for my Cloud Hosting venture. I kind of like this look.
  12. CMSimple has become my favorite I started using it before it was in Softaculous, and I like QuickCMS but you need to install it yourself since Softaculous does not configure it right, you always have to manually configure its conf.php and conf-En.php but thats no problem. I like these because of the layouts and simplicity to Administrate, another pick of mine is Concrete5. All of these get away from the clutter of extensions. Recently I found the best store or Ecommerce CMS to be OpenCart which beats Prestashop all to pieces in that it is easier to set up and get running and add products to, I find that it makes the best web hosting site (or store) you would want for a reseller account. Besides CMSimple and QuickCMS being simple to use, they also have their own databases which is important on accounts which have a limited number of databases, you can install a bazillion of these and not have to use one of you databases. Recently I set up a site using ProcessWire CMS which I have learned to appreciate, it does use you server data base but this is an excellent software, simple and yet allot like Wordpress in terms of the front end layout, but simple on the Administration back end.
  13. Ok it looks like a starter landing page, but something is wrong with it, it is not completely loading and then redirects to a legacy url. The host manager needs to fix that. You should log into your folder for that subdomain and in its htdocs (for forum.5starhosting.cf ) you will see a file such as index.php or index2.php of index.htm (I forget if its html or php) and delete that and then install your chosen forum software for that link. Ordinarily when you obtain a iFastNet or Byethost account and go to the site you see the following.
  14. Ok I think you are saying that when you create a subdomain you are just getting a page? Can you provide a link to that page if possible so we can see it? If I can see it I might know what it is, I have used iFastNet an Byethost for some years now and so I might have seen what you are talking about.
  15. I can help somewhat at the moment, you should have had a web hosting site automatically installed when you signed up. On that site on one of the pages is a free hosting sign up form where the user can sign up. You have to look through your links on the pages, depending upon the theme installed the link could be anywhere. I have found that when I added an extra hosting account from my web hosting Cpanel an entirely different theme was installed as compared to the first. So get into your site and do some digging around and familiarize yourself with every page and feature. Also you have some work to do to update your web theme since some of those themes go back and may have out dated data on them. You have to add your data for your free hosting package and other packages you create. You may use the theme to design other pages you want to add and perhaps some sort of Ecommerce store installation like Open Cart (I found this one the best to sell web hosting services and packages) and one of those accounting and billing software for reoccurring payments. You will not be able to jump into this all over night, it takes some time to set it all up and configure and customize as well as work out bugs. Getting the code to work right in adding Ads to the Cpanel and links is a job in itself, you can get that real bugged up with the wrong kind of Ad scripts from the Affiliate Publishing companies. So research your web hosting site pages and look for the links or ads to free hosting. And when you find it you can place a link to it on your home page to help them find it. Unless you want to keep it hid and have them look over all of the hosting packages and deals first.
  16. I dealt with this problem today so my solution was to brand it this way, if you click this graphic it should enlarge. I branded the panel in the upper let corner and added useful links and an Affiliate Ad. Now it looks like a web site and I think the user will find some useful things there, and I plan to add good things as I go. I foremost want the users to have access to web design software and coding, as well as loads of free HD graphics, and on the left side I have links to my web hosting site and its Ecommerce installations.
  17. I assume you have looked in the section outside of your htdocs folder in the root directory of your FTP files, since this is where your folders for the domains you have created will be. In this graphic I have my " htdocs " folder underlined and three subdomains in red squares, this is where they will be. You will upload in these. I know you might know this but some do not, especially if they are new to hosting their own sites.
