  1. thanks for the replies! I just tried with cpanel.byethost.com and it worked fine. I appreciate your responses!
  2. When I set up my free account, I used one domain to create my account, and a different domain for my website. My question is, if I cancel my main domain, can I still access via the ifastnet or byet cpanel? That way I can own just a single domain. Yeah, I know it sounds dumb, but I originally tried to sign up with the domain I wanted and must have done something wrong and it was pending. I grabbed a similar domain and tried again and it worked fine. xyz domains were only a couple bucks, but the renewal is much more. Since I'm mostly playing so far, I'd rather manage costs. I thought about getting the .com but someone registered my name as a .com about 4 months after I created my .xyz. hmm. thanks!
  3. I must have overlooked the cname settings. I haven't used cloudflare, so I may have to look into that. thanks!
  4. Looking good. They move up and down from image to image. Might try to align then in the same place for each.
  5. you can't use Yandex? Is it a location thing? What about Zoho?
  6. So, if I understand this right, you created a reseller account as myresellerurl.com. now, you created a customer account as a test. this would create the subdomain test.myresellerurl.com and that's what the customer would be working with. he (you in this case) could have [email protected] as an email address. he (you) could also add another domain, uncleearl.com for example, and create email addresses such as [email protected]. is that what you're asking? when you sign up as a customer, you are assigned a sub domain of the seller's domain. then you add other domains.
  7. I'm probably missing something. I see I can create an email address and have it be a mailbox, or a forward. Great. I'd like to have a catchall mailbox (or forward) so I don't miss email. I'd also like to set my cname so that mail.z3host.xyz points to a webmail interface. Are these things possible? If not, I can use Yandex, but I thought I'd just have a simple email here. thanks
  8. But mine is newer than both of you! who doesn't want to be on a brand new site? BTW, I'm playing with plans and it defaults to 3 domains. Email me and I'll make it unlimited.
  9. Thanks guys! Primary consideration is that sendmail and smtp are limited/restricted. I saw the script and wasn't comfortable with putting username/password into the script. I need to look at it further. That's what prompted me to inquire as to what everyone was using, assuming of course that everyone wants a contact form for their hosting site. Restricting outgoing mail seems to be pretty standard, and I've seen various scripts and services. I'll probably be following up with more questions as I go so I appreciate your input.
  10. Hi fellow hosts. I'm just starting out and would like to benefit from the fruits of your labors. I'm wondering, on the free accounts with certain limitations, what is anyone/everyone using to power a contact form? I'm just looking for a simple way to send an email to my company's mailbox via form. There are some 3rd party sites available and I'm wondering what experiences has everyone had. thanks!
