  1. Also, WHMCS barely provides any extra value to MOFH, besides not beeing compatible pretty much at all at this point, and requiring a whole lot of work.

To get Xera to an efficient and secure state would take quite a lot of work. Youll also have to imagine the additional server load itd cost them. iFastNet hosts millions, if not billions of pages.

If they really want a new feature, they can just implement it into vPanel, which would be the proper way of doing it in the first place. But since they still want to promote paid hosting, they obviously wont do that.

iFastNet offers some of the most generous Free Hosting. Its free - dont complain about it (especially since they still allow these features to be implemented externally)

That domain is not on the PSL. While you can add DNS NS records, you can’t add nameservers records (which are what is required). Even if you could get it setup with the domain, you certainly would not be able to use it for client accounts as any domain users create would not work.

That is not correct. Actually, the NS records for your domain are exactly the same ones you could add for a subdomain, just in the root zone. And even tho its not his intention, yes, this would work for clients too. For DNS, there is not really any difference between

    example.org

    test.example.example.org

as long as you set NS records. Only cloudflare blocks you from adding such a subdomain to their network. If you e.g. set NS records, you can host a subdomain with its own DNS entirely as you wish on dns.he.net  (last time i checked they allowed domains not on the PSL).

DNS doesnt care about the PSL. Its mainly cloudflare that does, and webbrowsers.

i connected to my MOFH Account the domain "hosting.cheeter.de" via CNAME, but when i try to open the site it just doesnt show any Content. i waited several weeks but still, nothing. idk what to try anymore, i tried reconnecting it, delete the files, all of that but still didnt work

The CNAME record you added only verifies that the domain is allowed to be added to byet hosting. However, you still need to setup DNS records.

    In Cloudflare, create following records:

    hosting.cheater.de A 185.27.134.175
    www.hosting.cheater.de A 185.27.134.175

This IP might change in the future. You can always see the IP here: https://digwebinterface.com/?hostnames=hosting.cheeter.de&type=&short=on&useresolver=9.9.9.10&ns=self&nameservers=ns1.byet.org

That is also why its reccomended to set the NS records.

Add it as a subdomain, not as a domain. You can’t set nameserver records for subdomains not on the PSL.

Actually - yes you can. I just did it on my TH account.

idk why it shows this, my NS records are managed by CloudFlare (the NS of cheeter.de) and i did setup the domain just like it saidimage.thumb.png.f946a9faa39a516f3f798798d3829e43.png
this is my setup is smth wrong here?

If you use the CNAME validation, you need to turn off the proxy.

it uses the newer version of CPANEL/WHM while inf free uses the old version so it wont work along with what tinkerman said it has never worked

    iFastNet is not InfinityFree.

And its not really old cPanel, its something completely different, and it never really worked all that well with WHMCS either

A much simpler way would just be to use an online platform like LetEncrypt to get a free 90 day cert, or a service like TinkerHost to get a 10tr untrusted cert (if you are using a web proxy like CloudFlare).

huh? Lets Encrypt doesnt offer any web portal?! Also you still need an additional domain, and you could use the trusted cert from TH too, no?

If you add the domain to MOFH, users can create subdomains on it. If you don’t want them to do that, don’t add it to MOFH.

Also, new users cannot signup with a MOFH-provided subdomain, they have to use of your subdomains.

Lastly, users being able to create subdomains does not affect the speed of your website is any way.

Or change the NS - itll still display but it wont work.

I’m quite confused what are you telling us /asking us. The domain studenthosting.pp.ua works perfectly fine over both HTTP and HTTPS

order.reseller.com doesnt have SSL. When the request is downgraded from https to http, your browser might not send the data.

The soloution would be to: change order.reseller.com/register2.php to ifastnet.com/register2.php. iFastNet.com has SSL.
