waigyuk
Thanks to help I got in this forum in a post titled "Best free bot blocking solution", I installed cloudflare and used its firewall to block a whole country. This successfully stopped the bot from getting to my site, but is there any way of stopping that bot attempting to access my site or will it keep trying forever? I blocked the country May 21st but, in my cloudflare events page, even today it shows 288 blocks from that country in one day. It hasn't done any damage to my website, it's just that my statistics used to show hundreds of visits every day from that country to all different pages on my website but those were not from a person. TinkerMan
Does all the bots request have something in common with the rest? ASN, IP, ect. You can block it by that.
waigyuk
The ip address changes by a lot and the asn details are also not always the same, but I don't want to block it I want to stop it from happening altogether, read my first post.
