The new theme has passed initial QA, and is somewhat closer to release to the public. Please note that this WILL depreciate the x3 theme, all resellers will need to check their advert / code implementations to ensure all is still working as expected.

Another one, the dust (Byet's - sv75.ifastnet.com) has been migrated over.

sv20 has now also been migrated to the new platform, and we see on average, a decrease of 50% in page load time.

to be honest changes to the old x3 skin have been frozen for the last 3 months while paper lantern is being finalised, once paper lantern is released if this issue still exists then we can add it ! -
yup Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes would mean you need the full fat innodb support provided only on premium hosting

We have completed our first premium server migration (sv72.ifastnet.com) and can conclude that the web pages run faster! More servers will be migrated over the coming days.

Why does mysql_* work on free hosting?

full innodb support does require premium hosting, we offer a 'fake' innodb version on free. The 'fake' innodb makes scripts that use Engine=Innodb work, however should the script need long keys, etc then premium, hosting would be needed.
