  1. Dear TinkerMan, I understand and respect your perspective on this matter, however, I must respectfully disagree. While I can see how your argument may be valid in certain situations, I believe that in this particular case, there are other factors to consider that may alter the conclusion. I would be happy to discuss this further and explore the issue from different angles to see if we can arrive at a mutually satisfactory understanding. Dear forum members, As a community, it is important that we strive to maintain a level of professionalism and respect in our interactions with one another. One way that we can do this is by using formal language in our forum posts. Formal language helps to ensure that our communication is clear, concise, and easy to understand. It also shows respect for our fellow forum members and demonstrates that we are taking the time and effort to present our thoughts and ideas in a thoughtful and organized manner. Of course, there may be times when more casual language is appropriate, such as in social or off-topic discussions. However, when it comes to seeking assistance, asking for advice, or engaging in more serious or technical discussions, it is generally best to use formal language. I encourage all members to make an effort to use formal language in their forum posts, particularly when discussing important or technical subjects. By doing so, we can help create a more professional and respectful community for everyone. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Anyx
  2. Ah, okay. To clarify, these are his wishes for an "iFastNet Android app", right?
  3. I was hoping we could avoid this, but it seems we've reached this situation. Personally, I do not believe there would be an issue with anyone posting an app on the Play Store that makes use of something related to iFastNet's services, provided they don't use iFastNet's branding and/or try to promote/show the app as being endorsed by iFastNet when it is not. I don't think it would be worth of their time to pursue apps that do not violate their rules/criteria, as it could risk alienating the community. Of course in the end, iFastNet has the final say, so if planning to post an app that is related to iFastNet's services (and is not something related only to your MOFH reseller, for example) you may wish to consult support first.
  4. Merry Christmas, everyone! May we have joyful days ahead, and a happy and productive new Year come to us soon! Discussion for Invision moved here:
  5. I just got a puzzle system one. It was annoying (the fact that you had to find the exact spot, because if you dragged it a bit away from it it would fail), but slightly cool I guess.
  6. I think the "me too" part is referring only to trying to get 69% uptime, not the second part.
  7. That's scummy, and scammy, behavior though. They already make money from paid customers, and if they can't offer free domains in the first place, they shouldn't offer them. Imagine the outrage that would occur if iFastNet followed the same strategy and stole clients' websites, suddenly starting to display advertisements on their domain (I'm aware of suspendeddomain, but that happens only on account suspension which is usually resolved soon, plus the client could theoretically temporarily change nameservers to not have that displayed) and not allowing them access. Or if eu.org suddenly took your subdomain and used it to promote their service. You can argue Freenom's TOS may cover it, but it doesn't make it any less scummy.
  8. Well, a Christmas mood usually brings happiness, which Hammy is on and does by default. There's an easy solution for that...
  9. Seconding this. Anyone that considers using NFT security... seek help, as soon as humanly possible. He didn't reply to you 😂
  10. hello! welcome to our never-ending, always-changing, "off-topic" thread! Likewise! Although he's more active on Discord, where we haven't seen you in a while, BurkeKnight
  11. Hammy's always on a Christmas mood. I believe I've spent more time on this forum than GitHub, and Spotify. YouTube doesn't compare though. GitHub: Where your stars shine, and everyone's watching.
  12. That just makes it easier to trust them, however unless the content is being served directly from their repository (and you have a way of knowing/verifying that), you still have to trust that their instance doesn't have anything extra added, and unless you have the knowledge to check their code yourself, they're still 3rd party services you're trusting. Regardless, that's not the point here. https://ssl.pichisdns.com/ has my trust, as well as many other community members, but in the end as you mentioned, it's up to anyone if they'll trust it or go for a more well-known solution such as ZeroSSL
  13. I believe the best course of action would be this: A paid domain extension would create better trust between your clients and you, but if you cannot, a free service like eu.org or a domain from FreeDNS (be advised that they're not fond of VPNs, though) would be a nice solution. While this could also, in theory, work, Freenom is known to suspend accounts without reason and take their free domains once they've become popular, or for any other reason they do not disclose, and my experience with their support has not been good. I wouldn't advise using a free domain from Freenom again, unless you're prepared to lose it and repeat the same process multiple times.
  14. Every single service available online, unless you've created and self-hosted it, is a third party you're having to trust.
  15. Anybody that's willing will, the others wouldn't bother regardless of color. Like TinkerMan said, red was only an annoyance. That's great both for you and your clients, but I fear at some point you'll run out of Earth and Mars isn't ready for hosting yet... is it?
  16. And my servers all hacked. Funnily enough, vPanel seems to also like its uptime low, down low. I WISH THAT WAS ME except the 3am part
  17. Haha, don't know what you mean by "uptime" but I like mine low, down low. I didn't mean my message to discourage you from the challenge... go for my position! Just wanted to comment on doubleposting, as it might encourage anyone participating in the race to spam post, and then the mods/admins will disable the counter entirely, which none of us would like It is, indeed.
  18. See, that's the textbook definition of spam posting. I even mentioned it a while ago. Not only that, but you edited the original post and posted a new one right afterwards. Feel free to disagree with me, after all I'm stating an opinion, but I don't know how others feel about this.
  19. Don't challenge me. You did, though. As long as you don't spam post, I should be good.
  20. The mods don't, but the admins certainly do... and Administrator was recently active, you know?
