Yes you can use WordPress as your main site while maintaining MOFH features. Just make sure you have your forms setted up correctly or use LOGGED which can be used alongside WordPress. Unfortunately, I'm not quite sure as I never used Xera before. You'll need to check how Xera works and determine if it is compatible with WordPress or not. WordPress and Xera won’t work together, as they would both be trying to do the same thing (I mean you could integrate Xera into WordPress theoretically). And please, can you read the README files on the GitHub projects we are linking to? Most of the questions you are asking can be resolved just by reading that one page.
