ByetHostUser
Hello, is there a simple way to check how many files I currently have inside the folder htdocs? It could be helpful in order to make sure that I indeed uploaded there all my files, but I don't see where this information is located. Thank you! BastelPichi
Your FTP Client of Choice can probably display this.
TinkerMan
Or you can check the control panel, but be sure to give it at least 8 hours from your last change or it won’t be accurate.
ByetHostUser
Where exactly in the control panel do you see the number of files you currently have in the folder htdocs? I looked almost everywhere, but couldn't find this information... Thank you!
ByetHostUser
I guess everybody is waiting breathlessly to know the end of the story… Having found so far no hint in the control panel itself I tried to use FileZilla, although I did not use FTP to upload my files (I uploaded them manually one by one, whenever they were ready). And indeed, once connected, FileZilla shows at the bottom of its display the number of files in the specified folder. It's hard to believe that such a big cannon is needed to kill this small mosquito... I guess the number of files is simply hidden somewhere in the control panel itself, but where? Administrator
look for 'inodes used' an inode is a file or directory on your account.
