Solved, found in span folder
Nice to hear it got solved! Make sure you mark Byet's emails as not spam (perhaps using a trusted filter for the address) to ensure you don't miss any important messages.

You can use JS to hide the option as Tinkerman said.
But people can still inspect element to get the subdomain.
Not really. That would be CSS, not JS. JS doesn't hide the option, it removes it altogether.EDIT: "Remove" in this context is hard to define, as it will be "removed" from the frontend, but it won't be "removed" as an option in the backend. So, I suppose you can also call it hiding
It's perhaps possible to add the domain back as an option through inspect element manually and it may work, but that's not something your average user will either know or bother to do in my opinion.
18 hours ago, SpookyKipper said:Therefore, you might want to change your Nameservers to something else(i like Cloudflare) and point an A record to all of your subdomains created and the cPanel.
That still won't prevent someone from creating a subdomain in the panel if they want, though. It just won't work (which is also a perfectly valid solution, combined with hiding/removing it first).
9 hours ago, AA22Dev said:But using JS to restrict subdomain registration on your main domain is not recommended as inspect element can be used for registering subdomains under your main domain.
True, but if the subdomains can't be used (@SpookyKipper's Cloudflare suggestion) this isn't a problem.
6 hours ago, SpookyKipper said:You need to point A record for every subdomain you created in the cPanel in Cloudflare
An A record pointing to Byet for each of the subdomains you want to use. Don't use a wildcard pointing to Byet, as it might allow some people to use the subdomains (although I'm not sure if that happens when you point it on a specific IP/main domain).
20 minutes ago, BastelPichi said:Yes, however actually dont adding it in teh first way is the best, as you cant remove the domain you signed up with.
It seems they somehow managed that though, lol. While your solution is the optimal, it can hardly be applied without a time machine.

I'm back in the race to claim my position 🏃♂️
Seems like there's going to be a fierce competition between BurkeKnight, BastelPichi, AA22Dev and Chronos for those two spots (and perhaps Evrifaessa's). Maybe some bets shall be placed?
The only one that doesn't worry is PlanetCloud, unless of course he decides to leave us for two years 😂

To move the files from /htdocs to /domain/htdocs, I would use a desktop FTP client like FileZilla, then just copy and paste the files, just like you would do as if you were on your desktop.
Then you will have to change the site URL, I would actually do that before you migrate in WP settings.
You didn't read the entire topic. This is exactly what Ryan did:

Yes I uploaded files into "htdocs" folder
37 minutes ago, Remi said:That happens because you need to upload them in the "htdocs" directory of your domain. Since you already use a free subdomain, the directory you should upload them to for remidesigns.tech will be:
remidesigns.tech/htdocs/
Alternatively, you can remove your domain and add it back as a Parked Domain, so that it shows the same content as your free ByetHost subdomain.

Well yes, for screenshots windows has snipping tool, which is similar to what linux has. However what im really missing on linux is an simple, stupid drawing programm, like paint. I use, if needed https://jspaint.app, but thats the winxp version.

why would you need the m*dern version of W*ndows Paint, it's awful
In any case, what's awesome with Linux is that there are a lot of open source alternatives to look for, you just have to look them up

I was using the built-in feature of Pop! OS for screenshots, and it was fine when ShareX was absent.
Linux has built in features that cover most functionality we need in external tools exceptionally. Still, I also do not understand developers that do not consider making a Linux version (and given ShareX's popularity, I'm surprised no one in the community covers that yet, as all popular forks that did were archived).

Thanks Sounds like a good idea, only if people disable the js but thats unlikely
If people disable JS, the panel won't load at all and they won't be able to do anything.

What is the IP Tobe pointed to Cpanel in Cloud Flare
Hi there,
the IP you're looking for is most likely 185.27.134.3.
You've opened the topic in the wrong category though; please use "MyOwnFreeHost General" for such questions.

Featured already says enough, no stars needed. This is a very nice change that I'm sure would have been requested if we weren't too lazy to ask it.

Yes, this is much better than chat. Chatting is for Discord; I love the forum because of being able to sum up everything on a reply, and keep easier context.

No spamming the thread with multiple posts at the same time.
This thread can have double posts, if for different things, but not multiple posts with just 1 or 2 words.
It is to have some fun, not to cheat your way to a higher post count.
If it's used for that, it will result in this board being set to NOT add to post counts.
Please don't, lol. No one is going to spam this with just 1 or 2 words.

Yes, but @Gex said that the Xera DB does not update even when changing the password from its own settings.

I tested changing account password from Xera, the buttons links they work with the password data in the database if I change the password in the database manually to the new password I set it goes back working.
The problem it works with the database data and once you change the password it doesn't work updating the database to the new password then the links of the buttons they don't work.
That's Xera problem. GitHub MOFH-R, it works updating the problem.
I see what you mean.
Like I said, I don't know how or if I can help. This seems like a database update issue, try filing an issue on Xera's github page over at https://github.com/mahtab2003/Xera to see if someone can find out what's causing it.
