Hahaha, so do I. It has many jokes, some not so good... others real well.

    Is This Fine?

Remove the A records entirely, and if possible do what @TinkerMan said as well, add NS records for ns2-ns5.byet.org as well.

You should be using all 5 nameservers.

On an irrelevant note, since you have your Discord banner in the footer, have you joined the unofficial Community Discord?

Without changing to byet NS first all of this wont work. You have to change to byet ns, before you can add it anywhere.

    This was already said:

You have to point to byet nameservers in order to add it to mofh, you can change to cloudflare afterwards

    Explained more in detail here:

Also, nameservers are not equal to Website IP addresses, so you shouldn't set it up like that on cf

These are A, not NS records. Try creating NS records and setting their value to the Byet nameservers.

I wonder if we have finally killed it...

Possibly. In any case, time to plug in the Discord again:

I have no idea what happened to it.

It's not even showing as available in the block list.

Maybe Invision decided to eradicate it in the latest update.

Wouldn't be surprised to see that.

I am getting very mixed responses here 😂

Is C+ kind of like C#? I know a tiny bit of the latter.

Sorry, missed this. C++ is, kind of; there's a joke that C# means C++++ (you can Google more about it).

I'm surprised you started with C#, then again I only know plain C so...

  4. It depends on what you mean "Better", of course. Each language has its own benefits.

C++ is faster, as you mentioned, but can be a pain to handle. Python, on the other side, is easier to learn and write for the most part, but much slower as an interpreted (!= compiled) language, and can be annoying for some people as it depends solely on identation.

Which one is easier to learn?

    Python, definitely.

Well if i'd be using c++ id still be coding... \xD

LOL. Don't think it can be avoided, though.

Maybe a demo works too? Or also adding a big knowledge base button to the front page? Back when I tried it also got rejected, but then again I also have nothing on the page so

That advice would work if the review is done manually, but I believe the way TinkerMan put it means the check is performed by automated systems, in which case I don't think a demo or a big knowledge base button would do much.

You can modify the htaccess afterwards to make it work with https :)

Surely, but if you're going to have to modify it manually, you might as well add it manually in the first place and skip the tool. It's strange it's not allowing you to add HTTPS URL, has anyone mentioned this to the support team/what was their response if so?

dont tell me that, tell that to @Ultimate Host\xD

Well, that's who the message was likely intended for... that and anyone else that may have that question. You don't have to assume someone's talking to you because they quoted you.

I, for example, tend to quote people when I want to add to something they've said.

He was an older man, and this was the time when CD-ROMs were really just coming out.

I genuinely think that he really didn't know that computers had CD-ROMs and had thought that the 3.5 FDD was still the only way to install software.

However, it still show that some people never should have gotten a computer. 🤣

I see. Ah, the 3.5 FDDs... never got to use them despite having an old computer that would support them. I have a friend who was a collector and had a lot of floppy disks and older PCs to test them on, we'd also use to joke that we could use them on our school's older PCs before they were replaced with new ones through an EU program.

  9. 10 hours ago, Burke Knight said:

My answer is not a disgusting one, but more a "Some people should not have a computer" one.

When me father and I had our computer store back in the 1990's, we had a customer buy a computer, then return with it a month later. He was claiming it was not working right anymore.

When we asked what was wrong, as we hooked it up so could check it out, he said:

"The coffee cup holder is not working." As he pointed to the CD-ROM.

Either someone's brain wasn't working, or he was genuinely unaware of CDs. Still, weird thing to return a computer for, I mean was he using it only to hold his coffee?

Funny indeed, but you're still not providing us with your own experience...

  10. 1 hour ago, Burke Knight said:

Yes, until it changed to post counts, then it seemed to stick there.

That was only recent, though. Isn't that the intention of the thread?

It is customary the one asking a question about experiences provides theirs as well...

  11. REMINDER

In about 12 days, deprecated scripts will be removed. They will no longer be supported or hosted on our CDN, which means that any vPanel that depends on them will break.

You can either replace the link with a jsDelivr release one (that points to one of the releases that contain them), or, as we recommend, use the new scripts we've provided.

I love how this conversation went from showing off some cool VP customizations to proving that we are not bots.

    Perhaps we should do both?

One of the solutions would be to not host your reseller website onto the same reseller account/server.

However in this case hello had already added the domain, so unless they are in posession of a time machine... they'd have to make a new reseller account. I guess that's also a solution if you don't mind having two resellers, one of which would be unused.

    18 hours ago, TinkerMan said:

They won't delete the domain from the account for you, it will cause huge issues later (I know, it happened to me. In fact, that rule may be because of me)

    18 hours ago, BastelPichi said:

Well my attempts were like a year ago or something?

Yeah, I think I was planning to refer to @TinkerMan in a post, don't know if I actually did it. It's generally not a good idea to ask for the domain you signed up with to be removed because of the way the system works.

Well from experience it takes mods 3 hours to get online, thats defenetly enough time to spam.

A little tip for @AA22Dev: a quick way to increase new posts is to point out spelling mistakes in your contestants' posts, as demonstrated by BastelPichi here.

Of course, you can also do the same @BastelPichi... although you could also call this a banning speedrun.

Maybe I should develop some new super duper cool MOFH tool so people start spamming? lol

Double-posting in less than a minute should be considered cheating (unless it's a response that couldn't be posted in the original because the other message was written when writing the original, like mine to yours :D)

    Quoting myself again:

EDIT 2: Oh you meant creating a useful tool for MOFH to get people to interact, not a spamming tool. Apologies. YES, DO THAT. That should be encouraged!

    @AA22Dev, about those Wybe plans?

  14. 6 minutes ago, BastelPichi said:

Even if I would spam, as long as I would spam an decent amount before I get banned, Id still stay on the leaderbaord, as deleted posts also count. xD

@Chronos can fix that, don't you worry about it.

    6 minutes ago, BastelPichi said:

    No you wont.

    The race is on, then!

    Latest Update:

PlanetCloud in the leading spot with the astounding 1001, followed by Anyx's 828, as we move to a contestant that's left a long time ago, Evrifaessa, but still holds the outstanding record of 660 posts, followed by BastelPichi with 625, closing in is Chronos in the 5th spot with 618, right as BurkeKnight's 610 threatens his spot, finally reaching to AA22Dev with 601, and a lot of confidence and effort in moving his score up and surpassing the others!
