  1. Daily hits is how many times someone sends a request to the server while Inodes you can say are folders means how many directories/sub-directories you can have. The Daily hits resets every day, If you manage to hit that limit your account will be suspended for 24hrs and then it'll be unsuspended. If you want to not have the hits limit, then you can upgrade to a Pro plan. If you make a proper system you can profit off this though I wouldn't really recommend your main goal be to profit off a free reseller.

    I agree with you but I wouldn't use WHMCS with MOFH for these 2 main reasons:

    • It's not 100% compatible with MOFH
    • Licence is at minimum 16$/month which is very high for providing only a free service

    Each one has his personal opinion and I respect that. I just wanted to tell mine :)

    I completely understand your prospective and your way of looking at it but as for the points you've made, 1) As said in my post anyone can learn php and do little modifications to the backend and it should 100% work with MFOH again and 2) for small hosts $16/m might be a lot of money but for people who are determined at making the best out of like like infinityfree and stuff the profits would be higher than cost of whmcs itself although yes for small starters WHMCS is a very bad option and that's something I'm sure many people would agree with it's just not something small free hosts should begin with unless they got the money to spare. At last these are all our personal opinions and I can respect that :)

    Hi @NamVr

    HTML & CSS is for frontend, you'll have to use a backend programming language like PHP in order to create functional mofh reseller website that works with api. So as long as you don't know any backend language you won't be able to create one.

    You can create your own client once you have an idea of php and the working of mofh api. This might help you to build one.

    Otherwise you can use WHMCS with a licence. If you use a nulled version your site will get suspended for sure.

    Or you may use Project Logged which will be easier to setup with minimal or no coding skills.

    As you stated , if you need a clienarea, remote login , account creation without email verification etc etc etc...it is better to build your own system that utilizes mofh api(as whmcs is not 100% compatible with mofh), then you can customise it however you want as long as you meet the guidelines of mofh. You will never get a prebuilt system like infinifree or profreehost as it is the result of their hardwork, if you want one you will have to invest your time, learn things and code thousands of lines of code.

    HTML & CSS won't cut it if he wants to make it work with MFOH so yeah I 100% agree with you on that part he'll have to have a good knowledge of php, oo-php, composer and Js. I think the MOFH API from InfinityFree is a very generous thing on their part and definitely will make life easier for anyone who's doing it. In this case @NamVr You're rly looking for an adventurous journey if you really want to make your own custom clientarea.

    Now something I would rly like to note here which I think many people have overlooked and are overlooking at here is how good WHMCS really can be when you just need something that completely works flawlessly and I'd rly like to point this out now which is also why am making this in the first place.

    The thing with WHMCS is how good it is with any sort of API whether it's pterodactyl, Cyberpanel, Cpanel or VistaPanel in this case... Well anyone can use this to make it work with MFOH API by default but when looking for someone custom and since as a host the main goal is to be as unique as possible and also be able to stand out from others which is where fully customizable templates for whmcs comes you are able to buy one of these and completely make it look fully custom and your clients won't be able to even know that it's a template you bought and the best part about this is that one can have no knowledge about coding and still be able to accomplish this, Now for people who know php and are a bit experienced with coding you can do very advanced things inside the whmcs product management and have it be your way completely which takes less time time to do and is a lot more stable with little to no errors. I think that for people who can't put much effort in, WHMCS is very powerful and worth it. I am still learning a lot about WHMCS myself and after using it for my free hosting for almost 2months now I'm very satisfied and I've made some custom things myself on it too. It has turned out great. I hope my experience helps out anyone who might be new and digging  around to find something to use and an un-exprienced MFOH user. Lastly if your  WHMCS is licensed and legit you can ask @360 if you need any help he has helped me a lot for mine too.

  5. Hi,

    I've been using Arc for about a little over 3months now and I can 100% say that It's completely legit and backed up by companies like Mozilla (listed on their site already), As for the payout it's not much for sites that have low traffic like 10 to 20 visitors everyday. Earnings are counts on the basis of the session time of a visitor so yeah you rly have to have most features built-in to your site itself as it won't work on the cpanel (this i'm not sure but it never worked for me but do let me know if it works for you). Now if you need any help the staff team is THE BEST like it's one of the best support I've ever seen especially for such a small company. As of writing this Arc is getting overloaded with traffic so support might be slow a bit.

    In the end it's just something you put on your site and forget about it you'll get payed out automatically for it just takes some time. I think you should totally use it.

  6. You're gonna need a clientarea if you're looking for something like that. Thankfully the Infinityfree API is completely free for anyone to use. You can take a look at it https://github.com/InfinityFreeHosting/mofh-client

    but if you don't know much coding or anything about coding then you're better off getting WHMCS. or just use Project LOGGED thanks to @PlanetCloud it's free and open source too here's the link: https://github.com/PlanetTheCloud/project-logged

    The hosting account username should be given to you when the api creates the hosting account. you should check in your whmc database if you indicate in the tables something like what you are looking for but you should identify the function to create hosting accounts and there should tell you what data extracts at the time of creation I would like to help you but to use whmc require a license try to install in demo but requires license.

    ahh I see, welp I think i just need to see in which variable the values are stored once i find the value it can easily be displayed then.

  8. Hi,

    As many of you know that the Single Sign on for whmcs doesn't work so do the quick shortcuts, Now the only way to login is to get credentials from the email. My users kept on opening tickets saying that it doesn't work so today I was finally able to remove both quick shortcuts and the "Login to Cpanel", "Login to Webmail" as for the change password it actually works so I decided to keep it. I was also able to find a way for changing the links to where those buttons takes you/adding new buttons there. Now, My plan is to replace the buttons in the quick shortcuts to show the actual credentials like this. And I've also found a way to do that aswell but now I'm stuck I don't know how to fetch those values there the values like {$service_username} from the email templates don't work but I know for sure there has to be a way to do this. If you're good at whmcs and know a method of fetching those please let me know either here or my discord idk if sharing discord is allowed so PM me for that.

    When I do all this I'll release a tutorial on how to do it all, For now I need your help.

    Thank you for reading.

    Hello,

    I have a question about upgrading the plan. Now my site has hit the daily limit, but it will be like this for only a few weeks. If I upgrade my plan to be a premium one, after some months can I transfer my account back to a free hosting option as before?

    Thank you

    hmm How do you know that it's only few a few months? I mean like you can't really predict when your sites dies it can just keep blowing up too.

    That file requires configuration too.

    Also .tk domain is blocked from free hosting so if you were using that domain than it can also cause array error.

    (These are possible reasons which I got to know about when I was setting up whmcs with MOFH for testing to check whether latest version is compatible or not but it is compatible)

    I will soon make tutorial on it for my site (with login to cPanel) button working (Not the original one but adding hook will do the trick). I'll share tutorial about that on my site and also will share hook there. But haven't started work on that tutorial yet :D

    As I should go from basics to whmcs for MOFH on my site.

    Thanks I'll wait for your tutorial may i know your website? I made it work somehow now but cpanel button still not working

    Possible reasons of array errors are:

    Using .tk tld.

    Not using the subwhois file (provided by mofh) and configuring it.

    I'm using that file and stuff i just don't know ;-; why it doesn't work.

    If you are working with myownfreehost reseller only 6 functions are available which are used to work with the api [WHM has several but will not work with mofh] because it is limited. you will have to work hard to achieve what you want with whm. But it would only work.:

    1. ->availability() - Checks whether a domain / sub-domain can be used.

    2. ->createAccount() - Create a hosting account from the reseller api.

    3. ->password() - Change account|client password.

    4. ->suspend() - Disable the hosting account.

    5. ->unsuspend() - Enable the hosting account.

    6. ->getUserDomains() -  Displays the domains, sub-domains associated with the user.

    Unless they find more available lately, but I don't think so.

    The best thing is to start a web project so you can modify and create as you like from 0 since WHM and others will not work 100% since the api is limited to reseller free.

    I just want it working with WHMCS that's all i want  :(

    Thanks for taking the time to post this!

    Ihave corrected it and removed the competing hosting company. You are not allowed to post or mention links to any other services rather than iFastNet's. Please keep that in mind.

    I have featured your post, so it stands out and moved it to the "Tutorials" category of the "General Webmaster Stuff" category.

    Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know about it. Thanks for informing me, I'll keep that in mind next time.

    Oh boy, do I love the Array error! I've seen it so many times. A workaround for this is to let your customers create accounts under your sub-domain, and the other stuff like sync & login to WHM is because it's not WHM/cPanel based, so don't expect those to work.

    Oh trust me I've tried everything at this point, I used the subdomain method too but even that doesn't work.
