  1. Probably not if you’re just buying the domain. The registry charges registrars to register the domain, so the registrars have to charge you more to make a profit. Upload illegal content - use it to host scams and spam, etc. The monitoring system catches a lot of it, but sometimes it gets flagged before the system takes it down. I mean if you want to regularly check every domain you can …. Yes to the .top. The “www” subdomain and the base domain should always show the same content. For SEO purposes, you should use one or the other, and redirect the other one. For example, if you want to use “example.tld”, you should redirect “www.example.tld” to “example.tld” (Or vise versa). If you want a homepage and a personal site on the same domain, you can do “example.tld” OR “www.example.tld” for your hosting company homepage, and something like “me.example.tld” or “example.tld/me” for your personal site.
  2. If you only have one domain name that you use, then yes. Any client who signs up gets a subdomain of your main domain. If clients abuse that subdomain (and trust me, they will), your main domain will also be punished by search engines and anti-virus software. You can get domains pretty cheap. I would recommend a .com or something from your main website, but you only need something like .top or .xyz for your users. If you are just using affiliate marketing to make money, you are almost certainly going to be losing money for a long time, unless you are also using affiliate links that are outside iFN, and if you are, that’s basically just advertising anyways, and is annoying. Might as well just use ads, you get more money out of it. Just put one or two on the page, and don’t use pop-ups.
  3. What I would recommend is do what I did and use two different domains. One domain for MOFH, and one domain from your homepage. This also has the additional benefit of search engines not punishing your homepage for the content uploaded by your users.
  4. I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you are asking. The data in bold is just telling you how many total hits all of your client websites have had this month.
  5. I don’t know what you are trying to do. We’ve given you a few suggestions, I don’t know which one you have taken.
  6. You have to logout of the panel - then try clearing your cache and trying again. also, make sure the code you added in the advert section is correct, and all the files you reference are reachable.
  7. Don’t recall of the top of my head, but you can do a reverse IP lookup.
  8. Hello Please type in English or use an online translator as this is an English forum. You cannot modify the PHP version on free hosting as it lacks the software needed to safely run old PHP versions. Please upgrade to premium, or do the recommended thing and update / upgrade your software.
  9. Yeah, maybe in the next 50 years or so when I go back to work on that site again :joy: TH takes way to much of my time lol
  10. Browser cache seems most likely. https://tinkertechlab.com/webhosting/security/how-to-clear-your-browsers-cache
  11. I’m not a fan of turnstile either - but I have to say that I love Invisible re-captcha from a UX standpoint. I’ll probably be migrating to it soon - the checkbox is starting to get annoying.
  12. Probably because nobody knows the answer. The only person working on it is Mahtab, and even he probably does not know how long it will take him to update it.
  13. Why wouldn’t it be able to? Just assign two TXT records to the domain the CNAME record is pointing to.
  14. That sounds like a encoding problem, not a hacker problem. can you share a code sample that contains these characters that are not displaying properly?
  15. Please don’t use AI to write forum posts. 99% of the time, it ends up deviating from your actual question, and just makes it overall harder to understand what you want. If you want full customizability, please use the API (api.myownfreehost.net), or a pre-built client area that you can modify like Xera or GenerateArea.
  16. Honestly I think it is fine. Especially with the free hosting network, don’t change it if it’s not broken or has security issues.
  17. That’s just a depreciation message, you can ignore it. All it means is that it will stop working soon - but is still working now
  18. Personally I think it’s fine - although the sidebar would be kind of nice. Not sure if iFastNet checks topics on this forum, so you should probably contact them directly with your ideas.
  19. CNAME has not disappeared, it is just hidden - you can still access it directly. According to iFastNet, the CNAME record section is not working right now, and they are trying to fix it.
  20. Sure? The better way would be to just identify what was changed (GitHub commits are useful here) and just replace those files.
