Add the possibility to customize the success page, and email activation email and add email html support

Recommended Posts

  1. Customizable Success Page: It would be incredibly helpful if you could implement a feature that allows users to customize the success page that is displayed after successful actions, such as account registration or form submission. This customization could include the ability to add our branding, provide additional information, and enhance the overall user experience. This, in turn, would create a more truly immersive environment for the user, reinforcing our connection with your hosting platform.
  2. Email Activation Email Customization: Email activation is a critical part of user registration and interaction. Having the ability to customize the content and appearance of the email activation messages sent to users would be a fantastic addition. It would not only allow us to maintain our branding but also ensure that the messages are more engaging, informative and credible.
  3. HTML Support for Email Content: In addition to customizing the email activation messages, providing HTML support for email content would enable us to create visually appealing and more informative emails. This feature would be highly appreciated for designing emails that align with our brand and effectively convey the required information. While I understand that this is often disabled for security reasons, with appropriate filtering in place to restrict harmful HTML and JavaScript code, this feature can be safely enabled.
  4. Custom Logout Redirection: The ability to redirect users to a custom login form when they log out would greatly enhance the user experience. This feature would give us the flexibility to create a seamless and personalized journey for our users.

I believe that these enhancements would not only improve the user experience but also set your hosting service apart from the competition. These features are increasingly becoming standard in the industry, and offering them would make your platform more versatile and user-friendly.

I understand that implementing new features takes time and resources, but I am confident that these improvements will benefit both your users and your service in the long run. I would be more than willing to provide any additional feedback or collaborate in any way possible to make these features a reality.

Please don’t use AI to write forum posts. 99% of the time, it ends up deviating from your actual question, and just makes it overall harder to understand what you want.

If you want full customizability, please use the API (api.myownfreehost.net), or a pre-built client area that you can modify like Xera or GenerateArea.

Qu'est ce qui vous fait dire que c'est de l'IA ?

What makes you say it's AI ?

There are several indications:

  • The post is extremely wordy and verbose and in many parts, having sentences that do not seem to convey an actual meaning but exist to "fill up the post".
  • It is repetitive in parts, for example:

Add on to that, no normal human will put such "professional" words, most like to keep things simple.

Why be so formal when you are posting on a forum? It's not a meeting.

And clear text formatting, point forms gave that it is AI Generated

I am fairly certain this no longer works, as Mandrill which is recommended there is now a Mailchimp addon.

We did, but as explained, it was harder to, as we have to search for the actual request inside an AI text wall of fluff. We would have understood without its usage too.

I believe Spooky meant he didn't understand the "Custom Logout Redirection" part; I believe I may have understood it, but I'm unsure. The idea I think @Wolfnight23 was trying to convey was to be able to set a "logout URL" for vPanel, so when a user hits the "log out" button, they're not brought before vPanel's default login page but a custom login page specified by the user instead.

While I would reccomend anyone wanting such capabilities to use an custom client area and the API, it would still be nice to have the option to maybe disable byet emails to customers from the MOFH Panel. (they are going to spam anyways, but its probably nicer to just be able to flip the switch entirely.)
