PlanetCloud
PHP 7.4's Active Supports officially ends in 4 months. Would be nice to have PHP 8 support implemented. Thank you.
Administrator
This is on the roadmap. However, due to the way our servers on free hosting are configured to run PHP its not a 'trivial' upgrade, so no time lines are able to be provided. Burke Knight
Would more likely depend on what you are using for site software and scripts.

Still will stand, @SpookyKipper Since not all web scripts, nor software will be fully updated at all times. That's why most control panels allow people to still select older php versions. However, you can also have ways to lower the php version for each site. As for them doing 8.2, that will depend on when they have the ability to do so. However, I see no rush for it, as most scripts and software are still set for lower versions of php. Even I have had to run some sites at 7.4 due to the makers of the software not updating yet for the 8 line.
