TinkerMan
Hello! Can somebody over at iFastNet renew the certificate on panel.myownfreehost.net before it expires? Or can @Chronos or @Dimitris relay the message? I would message support, but I have never gotten a response on the weekend before, hopefully somebody can do this though since it is a fairly quick process. Thanks! MS-DOS
Hello, I would like to add that we should put a 301 redirection to https so that everyone uses it.
Dimitris
Hello @TinkerMan, I passed the message to iFastNet. The SSL should be renewed soon! As per @MS-DOS suggestion, they will need to check with the panel developers. Will update you if I have an update.

As much as I'm for enforcing HTTPS, I'm against it on iFastNet services because of this exact reason: Sometimes the certificates expire, as they're not automatically renewed, and they take some days to update them, so when they expire it's much better to be able to access the site in plain HTTP than have to deal with the expired SSL warnings, at least in my opinion. TinkerMan
I have to agree with @Anyx on this one. Every so often a certificate expires on the control panel, MOFH panel, or FTP server. Forcing HTTPS would put out these completely out of commission.
Burke Knight
@Anyx, I think it is a good idea. I noticed that some browsers even have an option to force https when browsing. If the site doesn't have certificate or it's expired, all it'll do is warn the viewer that it's not secured at the time.
